I have a 77 F-150 4x4 and I have replaced the 351M with a 429.I am using a Pertronix 2 wire dizzy and need to know if I can by-pass the old modulator box and go straight to the ignition switch from the + side of the coil? Question

BOTH wires from a Pertronix go to the coil; one to the positive and one to the negetive side. n ignition wire then goes to the positive side of the coil.  Depending upon the particular coil being used will determine whether or not a ballast resistor or resistance wire should be used or not.
Overheating the coil is the only potential problem with continuous running like everyday street driving.
