2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
Does any one have photos of 2x4's installed on a trick flow intake using the trick flow or enderle linkage kit. Having a hard time working mine out. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
These are the best pics I have hopefully they can help you. When I set it up I ended up having to use a 1" longer turnbuckle from the bellcrank to the crossbar than what was in the kit, luckily Rich had just what I needed. I also had to use 1/2" spacers under the carbs for the linkage to clear the intake.

Don't get discouraged it took me about 8 hours to get it working smoothly, I thought that was horrible but Rich said it was not that uncommon especially for someone who had never set one up.

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
There is a fully assembled setup like you need at Engine Systems...
Will text pics this afternoon.
If you need any extra small parts from the kit, there is a stash box with levers, spacers and such there also.

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
my favorite coil is the square ..ish black Mallory part that I had in the 70s-80s coupled to my YC343HP 4-lobe dual point distributor.richter69 wrote:cool40 wrote:you just wish you had one............richter69 wrote:Accel supercoil ftw..

Hmmm..I think I still have the distributors..

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
Guys,
I helped Mr. Kent Enderle develop the complete linkage kit for the new style TFS tunnel ram manifold. My manifold was out there at his shop for six weeks or so. Anyway, that whole linkage set-up is available in kit form, and TFS has a part number for it. Therefore it's readily available through Summit, or TFS and their dealers such as Lem and Phillip. Very good, large pictures of the linkage assembly from Enderle were available at one time, I'm not sure if TFS is providing those or not.
Hope this helps,
Charlie Evans

I have the ths kit. The photos they have now looked like they were run off on a black and white copier from the 1960's. I think the photos range put up has me on the right track.

You will probably see 30-70hp is what I was told on mine. I don't know your cam specs and I won't ask because I wouldn't share mine but my 528 was pulling hard all the way up to 7750 and didn't drop much even at 8000.

Is that 7750 - 8000 rpm with stainless steel valves or titanium valves?

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
Not looking to turn that kind of rpm with mine. Would like to have a honest 6500 to 6700 on spray. Right now it will only pull to maybe 6200 on motor and 6000 on spray. It has a 1050 alky. Domy. From quick fuel. The # s above is about what it showed on the dyno. This is a great carb. But was never intended to be on a 605. I honestly don't rember cam specs. It is a pretty basic build. There is nothing in mine that wouldn't share. It is all decent parts just nothing exotic or even custom for that matter. Keith and Ted made a pretty good combo out of what they had to work with. They will have more lead way when it is time for a freshen up. They worked on a pretty tight budget just to get me a good solid piece to work with.

Guess I'm saying I'm hoping for a good pick up since I am sure that I'm way under carbureted

You have a nice bullet for sure . Mine just likes rpm. How big of carbs do you plan on running?

Re: 2X4 TRICK FLOW INTAKE
put a single 1450 qf gas carb on it, put some man jets in the fogger and watch the magic happen.

Maybe when I get tired of this, you'll be ready to part with your's and I can buy it. The one on my car now is one of your left overs.
