Yes sir. Us General. It's going on 3 years with a lift about every 2 weeks. I got it for Christmas one year and doubt it would have lasted but so far so good. Its been better than the 2 ton cheap ones. Lighter to boot. 3,000lbs.

Definately, I need to get another just to put in the trailer instead of going back and forth.69F100 wrote:I pick up a 2 ton and a set of 3 ton aluminum jack stands man are they light the truck is up on them now. Man it aluminum jack sure make pulling and putting the trans alot easier.

There is people that will absolutely NOT buy HF stuff simply because they think they they are junk. I personally have had great service with their tools. They do the job I ask of them,so im happy.

I got a cheap HF die grinder that is 20+ years old the bearing at the end is getting worn out but I can still hook the air hose to it and it works. I have quite a few tools from them that have been great, I like going to the store it is 65 mile away but I ALWAYS SPEND MORE THAN I PLAN ON

Re: Aluminum floor jack
I have a HF 3-1/2t floor jack that has better rollers than my other 3-1/2t floor jack, but doesn't lift quite as high, but has been a good jack so far. As for their other tools, I bought a HF reciprocating body saw that was a POS. Sold it and bought an Ingersol and am so glad I did. I have also bought other HF stuff that was junk and some that was good. So I guess my experience with HF stuff has been mixed.
Re: Aluminum floor jack
I need a bigger jack for my F350 so maybe I will try one. I am not a big fan of HF "anything that moves". I had an air reciprocating saw as well and it would have trouble cutting cheese. I have one of their atv winches and after a dozen uses the brake doesn't work anymore so if you lift something with it it's coming right back down as soon as you let off the button. Every time I go there there is someone returning some electrical part that quit.

Re: Aluminum floor jack
Been using that HF aluminum floor jack for the last 3 years on my ranger. Put it through mud, rain, snow, and it's never failed to pick the race truck up. It's enough to pick the entire front end up at one shot to change tires. Heck, I've even used it a couple time to pick the F350 diesel up on a front corner. It struggles but can pick up a single corner just enough to get a tire off the ground.

I've had good luck with HF stuff. There are 2 HF stores within about 35 miles.
A while back I took my wife to HF. She grumbled a bit on the trip there. She wanted to stay in the truck but I talked her into going in with me.
On the way home all she could talk about was how much she liked the store .

I have quite a few HF tools, and the only one that sucks is the air reciprocating saw. POS
Re: Aluminum floor jack
They have good stuff scattered among the crap. Just know what you're looking at before you buy.
Btw, No matter where they're from, $19 air tools are gonna be turds.
