Machine shop in Florida with BBF skills.

Anybody want to make a recommendation on a machine shop in Tampa/Orlando area that knows anything about BBF's.

I have been out of the loop on this stuff for so long, I don't know of anyone to use anymore. Everybody I used to know/trust is either out of the business or dead.

I know Kris Nelson at Nelson Competition can do a BBF. He's in Pinellas Park. He's not a BBF guru, per se, but does everything and does it very well. I wouldn't hesitate to go there if I was closer. Nice guy and very reasonable prices, too.

Call Steve Johnson and tell him what you want to do. He will steer you in the right direction.

I was going to suggest that as well.  I know his team ran a bbf.

Correct. But he can also help with cam, intake and cyl head choice.


There are a few guys around here that really don't advertise....word of mouth deal. They seem to have some fast stuff

Bill Thompson is in Plant City. He's a good guy, circle track racer, etc....has a soft spot for big Fords. He will NOT screw you. Tell him Smiley sent you.

I believe also that just outside the entrance to BMP there was a machine shop that ran BBF stuff, but never heard much about them.
