Little short legged,mullet headed,pot bellied,prick sure can race though.  

Dan broke free in the quick 8 final and was put out. Good effort though!

 

Hope it wasn't by that malibu he was afraid would show up.

I'm sure others will chime in, but I had a blast!!! It's hard to single out only one great thing. I met some great people there. Awesome to see all our BBF brothers rule the roost this weekend. They had the Chebby boyz shakin their heads and wondering how all the fords were flyin. Jackazzflats runnered up last night in the bracket 1 race. He did a heckuva job! Good to see all the regulars and some meet new ones like Brian Cagle,Dave De,Derek and Bobby Anthony and Jefferson "3x" Williams (Big lucky). Good too hang with the PA GANG all weekend! Keith,Dan,Wes and the crew, and Brian Spears and his crew! I know it's difficult for everyone to make it to these races. I've been a lot of places and to a bunch of different tracks over the years, I promise you will not meet a better group of guys than what we have on this forum! Oh, thanks to Lem for the hospitality! Mike Stevens, I hope the storms didn't screw up a bunch of stuff at your place. One more thing, I had the privalidge to sit and listen to Don Bowles and Lawes Mayfield share knowledge about racing to us "youngins".... Racers and engine builders like them,Lem,Charlie,Randy and Blake share an abundance of knowledge among us all, To them: Thank you!!!

Rolled in about midnight, nothing exciting on the road to report..
Quick look last night says just some limbs down in the yard and a few on the roof.
Doesn't look like anything major..

I know it was a bunch of work  and I know I can speak for others there.. We appreciate all you did !!!
The track was great and the people were friendly, even some of the local Chebbie guys...lol
Couldn't ask for much more..

To all my Brothers that were there this weekend.. It was great to see all ya'll and get a chance to hang out.    
To those that could have come and chose to sit on the couch...       You don't know what you missed !!
All I can say is get those show cars out of the garage....  

I had a Awesome weekend , even if I had to cut it by a day..
10 passes between 4.58 and 4.60, Qualify # 1 in the Quick 8.
Hippie Hobbs...  That won't happen again, that's all I got to say...    

All in all a great weekend and I hope we can keep this race going !!!

Ohh !!!! and 1 last thing.. Freelander...when you want to go fast, you can drive MY car ( after you read the manual)..... 

First of all - Thankx GEORGE K and whoever else was responsible (cuz I can't remember ) for putting on this get together.!!. We had a great time. The track hospitality and atmosphere is priceless. My junk ran its best 60' and time ever, Friday nite. IF this happens next year, I'll be back.

Had a great time as usual. It was nice to see everybody again. Thanks to everybody that worked to put this on. A special thanks to Mike Stevens for surprising me with the trophy I had won and given to him at his dad's memorial race. It means a lot to me that they're are great people out there like him. Thanks to JK Smith for all the help with pulling my Trans at the track after my flex plate bolts came loose. It's just a shame that a lot of people miss this. It's far more than just a race it's a fun family event. So many racers these days seam to think it's all about the payout. If your not in it for the fun and comradely, I think your missing the boat. I brought three race trucks with two tow rigs. If you don't think that's hard financially for a poor working stiff, your crazy, but I wouldn't miss getting to hang with my extended ford family for nothing. Wes

Somewhere in America, A racer will load his car into a double-decker trailer,grab a beer from the refrigerator of his motorcoach, settle onto a leather sofa and complain about the high cost of racing

Somewhere else in America, A racer will load his car onto a battered open trailer,pull some cold ones out of his cooler from the back of an old truck and talk about what a blast he just had!!!

Wes,i couldn't agree more. We all have a great time each and everytime we all get together.It's the people and friends like you and your family that make those races so enjoyable. Hated too miss the fun and comrodery.

Just wanted to say my wife and I had a great time at US60. Got down to 3 cars in S/Pro. Thanks to George for putting on the race. It was good to be able to put a face to names. A special thanks to Keith Fulp, George Keown, Dan Hobbs, and Alan Macklin for helping load my car after I broke a bolt in the bottom of my front strut. A special thanks to Uncle Charlie for helping me sort the tune on the car.
