Re: hello
Sounds like you come from a good family. Welcome.
One good big block will cure you of that small block fever.

For sure. Unfortunately I bought my car with the small block and can't afford to switch it up yet

Welcome to the BBF Forum
We have several members from Wisconsin IIRC.
What are you running now and what would you like to build?
What engines are your family running?

438" windsor with tfs r heads, super Victor, dominator, Howard's roller, 14:1, powerglide, in a backhalved hatchback fox body. Been 9.50 @ 137 @ 2950#. 29.5x10.5
Gramps has a 72 mach 1 with cal-tracs and 29.5x10.5 w's. Basically stock looking besides that and cowl hood. Has a 507" with out of the box blue thunder cobra jet heads, Victor intake, 1050, Howard's roller cam, 13:1, c6 trans (for now). Been 9.96 @132 @ 3500+#
My brothers new mill is still at the builder waiting on some odds and ends. But should be pretty stout. 612", 15:1, profiler 205's with a custom sheet metal done by TRE and two custom carbs from pro systems. Cam spec'd by Taylor at TRE, .890/.851 lift. Going in an 88 thunderbird chassis car
Dad is a little further behind but working on a 604" with c heads, sheet metal 2x4 with two prosystems, cam spec'd by our builder using my brothers cam for an idea. This will be in a 86 bird chassis car. Was as quick as 7.94 @ 172 with good old 598 with motorsport a heads and trick flow tunnel ram. Car weighed 2550 with driver
I would like to do something like my dad and bros builds but I'm a few years away from having the cash for that
