What you think it will run

My plans are to go do some TNT Friday night with the new setup as long as mother nature acts right. Been a while plus I have never a trans brake so aftera couple passes make sure it handle good I goingto turn it loose.

Truck should be around 3100 with me in it
Engine is a 552 with A429 heads victor intake 1050 APD Alky carb 14.7 cr thinking it should be some where around 700hp
Trans PG with 1.76 gears 5400 stall with pro brake
4.30 gears 31x10.5w.

What think it will run in the 1/8 going to a outlaw track I forgot to get new seat belts mine is out dated.

I'll take a stab...

On the T-brake... 5.90 - 6.00. That based on what I know from running those top end parts on a smaller motor.

Six fifty one......

6.20 for first outing. MAybe faster

old combo with the 460 with dove heads and c6 footbrake ran best 6.72 with 60' 1.42 at 99.5 mph at 3320#

Well it looks like it going to be Saturday night in Albany Ga the other track is having a car show and not running the track for racing. it a better track they don't check you very hard on TNT or they didn't the last times I went a few years back.

Yes I am going to Albany this time as Cecil closed this weekend they are having tnt Saturday night what he told me this morning

hay Jim you said your belts were expired how long are belt good for?

2 or 3 years can't remember but they was out last year by a few month when I ran it at Cecil with the 552 when it went right thro the c6 he let me run but told me they needed changing or get them recertified before I came back.

ok looks like i will have to buy new seat belts .dam mine look like new,they have set up more then they been used. just  have to add them to the list

Mine looks new they have set more then they been used but I will get another set I want to see what it will do in the 1/4 down at Cecil. Hoping for some high 9s but going to order a new set of 4.86 or 4.56 gears and bearings and build another 3rd member for it for the 1/8.
