I did one years ago and all we did was to cut and modify the factory towers using pictures we had from a magazine from the 70's. It was tight but went right in. I can't help you with a kit but if you have fab skills it is not that difficult to graft on fox body type stuff.

You have several options, there are several companys that offer Mustang II base front suspensions with r&p steering, there are a couple of options if you want to use struts you use the top shock/spring mount and then you can cut away most of the shock tower, Then there are the complete front end replacements that replace the entire front clip with struts etc. There is a company that reproduces the B9 shock towers along with a R&P steering conversion you would be set. Non are really cheap but the MII is probably the cheapest. FPA makes a killer set of headers for the B9 cars. I heard that they work with the MII front suspension too but I would call first.

Thanks for your responces. I will be building my own headers, will be like falling off a log with out shock towers in the way (also the reason R&P steering). Yeah I enjoy fab work, pipe welder by day.
I really hope I dont cage this car, it is a very clean s code mach1. Will have AC PS and a C6. A daily driver boss 9

I have a 69 fastback and installed a Rod & Custom Mustang II front suspension kit. The shock towers are gone but there are other issues to deal with. The racks position forces the engine to sit a little higher then I like and for headers the driver side is tight because the tubes have to snake around the steering shaft. Its a nice setup overall but I am going to make some modifications so I can set the motor rearward and about an inch lower. Also, going to use heim joints and mount the steering shaft closer to the frame rail.

Look into a pro street type front clip from a chassis builder such as Heidts chassis. I think a coil over/ rack steering/ tube chassis sub-frame could be incorporated into the stock inner fender Mustang front end with towers removed and plated over. I would still use some tube to tie it together for top of shock support.

If it's a clean car leave the towers in an make it look like a factory b9 car? Just notch the towers and leave the suspension alone. It's not that bad of a fit and plug changes aren't an issue on a boss.

Too many choices
I have done the mustang 2 conversion from Rod and Custom. Yes, the rack sits in the wrong place if you want to drop the motor down and back. The rack was moved fwd to give more pan clearance.
I am overwhelmed with the options for my 67 mustang. I want it to handle well but not a track only car. Will have a big block installed so clearance is a issue.
There is so many choices out there that you start to second guess yourself as to which one is best for your application. Sometimes I think that maybe using the factory stuff with the Shelby drop and roller perches along with R&P will be ok. Then the shock tower issue pops up..
Can you get a 4 link that handles or stick with a Watts Link?

I used the RRS coil over strut pieces. Australian company. RRS-online.net. Eliminates the upper control arm but keeps stock upper shock mount. Allows for severely trimming the shock towers but not eliminate them. I was able to out s conventional headed 460 into a 68 coupe with some big tube headers. Was pleased with the quality
