Crazy 2012 Ford Focus electrical problem
This is a crazy problem. since I have had the car I've had to replace the battery once and some mornings I have had slow cranking. Tonight the wife and I got home like normal and we had the radio on, wife turns off the car (radio still playing) I open the passenger door (radio still playing) wife removes the keys, the radio goes dark but the (radio still playing), she opens her door, (radio still playing) so we sit there and close the doors. We wait for the headlights to turn off and they do but the (radio is still playing)!!! We notice that the only other lights on is the lights behind the door switches and under dash lighting.
What's so freaky is the radio appears dead, all of the dash lights are off. You can hit all the buttons you want and they do nothing! I did notice one time before my phone stayed bluetooth connected to my car after I came into the house. I just so happen to call someone out by my car one day and noticed it was coming thru my car's speakers!! Didn't think much about it, I just hit the button on my phone. This is going to be a strange thing to explain to the dealership!!

Sounds like the power module (?) My sons Fusion had a similar problem wouldn't start, then other times it would start, Battery fine, some accessory's worked some wouldn't, some lights would work, etc. Finally took it to the garage and there is a panel with all the electrical components mounted to it and it went bad. Replaced the panel and no more problems. It was expensive though I think it was around 300.00. There was a lot of head scratching along the way trying to figure it out. Hope this helps.
