Summer's here

Well summer finally got here. It was only 90 degrees but the dew point was 76. I know it don't sound hot but it was darn right oppressive with more on the way. I don't know how you guy's down south do it, I sure couldn't  It might just be me but it seems the older I get the harder this weather is on me. I got home, opened a beer, sat down and woke up 2 hours later with a warm full beer of the table next to me.

Did you finish your beer or dump it out?

We say the same to the Northern guys and it's why I left Chicago. You can keep the snow plows, icy roads, snow days and all the other stuff. It's only 98 here today lol. That's why i have a pool and AC.

I'll take the hot weather over Snow, Cold and Salt any day !

I guess every region of this country has some form of bad weather.

Florida and North Carolina's hot summers seem more palatable than Ohio's 2 inches of Ice last Winter.

Got that right,thats why i'm Florida bound.   

After you've been here awhile you might rethink that . However retiring here and spending all day in the ac isn't bad I guess , if you have to work outside it sucks !

My working days (for a living) will be done. The Hot months will be spent in AC shop,the rest of year workin on some kind of motorized vehicle and enjoying the good life. At least thats what i've got planned.

Pretty much the way to do it here. Its hot, but i'd never trade it for the snow and ice. You will have to get used to our racing schedule, we are nearing the end of our "off-season" most tracks open up again in full swing just before Labor Day, and don't slow down until after June 1st. It really is great...
