Good old wrecking yard............
I have a road trip 8/1/14 from Chicago to Allentown, PA. via Interstate 80 to deliver a car. I would like to make a stop at a good old wrecking yard in the hopes to find parts for my 1972 LTD. So, question is.
Anybody know of wrecking yards known for having an excellent selection of old cars in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsilvania OR OTHER STATES? I'd like to see a thread with the names of of the yards in just about any state. I think it would help many people building vintage cars of any make and model.
I Might have empty trailer for the return if I don't find a 72 LTD parts car?

If you don't find anything you might find it at the All Ford swap on Thanksgiving weekend in Columbus. I run into a lot of stuff on my car crushing runs.Shoot me a pm for anything specific and I will keep my eyes peeled.

I wish you luck for sure. Around here, several years ago when scrap prices went through the ceiling, anything that wasn't considered "collectible" went to the crusher.

Radio? AM/FM/8Track? If you could, please send a pic to my email below.
My car has the 400 Cleveland/C6 in it. All fresh now with new intake, cam, carb, ported heads into 2-1/2" pipes out the back.
