What all is needed with the stop? Will it work on a Dominator and will it work w/7al2 box?

yes it will work with dom and 7al-2
you will need a co2 bottle and regulator
it is a linkage type throttle stop
it will not work with a cable

What is the knurl on the lug studs? Or, what applicatioin are they for?

they do not have a knurl
they are threaded all the way to the head of the stud
