MSD Distributor pickup or Crank Trigger

What way do most you go and set ups.

i see a few peolpe are running 8580 with a crank trigger why are people doing this? Why are they not running 8569

Well i guess you can run 8580 with the trigger and some thing happens to the trigger you can use the dis... didnt think about that what your guy intake on this?

I suspect they have a 8580 that is bought and paid for....rather than buy a special 'trigger' diz they use the lock out feature of the 8580 and leave the pickup wire unhooked .

I found that the 8569 fouled on a SVO B460 intake manifold might be the same on A460 intake not sure about other head/manifold configurations?
