New to the 429/460
Good morning everyone!
My name is Daniel and as the topic says, I'm new to the 429/460 world. As of now I really don't know much about the engine except... its big!
I picked up my 429 ThunderJet from a 1972 Ford Thunderbird along with a C6 XMSN. Plan is to drop this bad mamma jamma in my 1969 Mach 1
Shock towers and portions of the front fender apron were rotted through so I replaced everything with the Mustang II suspension and crossmember. Currently designing motor mounts (cardboard and CAD )to make the engine sit comfortably under the hood
Hope to learn a lot from this site and the members here!

Welcome aboard to the #1 BBF site. I use to think the 429s and 460s was just old gas hogs until I found out how easy it was to make some HP out of them. The HP you can make with them is cheaper than a small block making the samepower level. You can find everything here you will need to know on how to build one.
