ok I have been looking at carbs for my truck and yes specs are good to know when it comes to this but is a AED 950HO a better carb for the street then a 850 the 950 has smaller Venturi 1 3/8 and the 850 Venturi 1 9/16 would this make the 950 better for the street?? all a 950 is 750 body and a 850 base

A basic 950HP has a contoured air entry with no choke in the way which is why it has a higher airflow than an 850DP with its choke and blade. Not having a choke is not usually very street friendly unless you live in an always warm climate.
Does your vehicle have a C6 which needs a kickdown lever on the carb...?

I do have the C6 but I have heard you don't need the kick down I know holley makes the 950hp that has one but the choke is not some thing I need all though im not very well educated on the trans topic
