Cleaning billet carb parts
What is safe to soak the billet metering blocks in ? , don't want to eat the finish off them soaking them in the chem dip like I would a regular carb.

X2 that how I clean my APD metering blocks then I spray them down with wd 40 and blow them off good it helps to keep the tarnish down and them looking shiny

Thanks guys that's what I'll do , I had a call into AED also and same reply , he said they use 2+2 and a air gun unless it's a real gunked up carb then it gets thrown in a heated sonic cleaner.

Electrical contact cleaner is good to 'blow out' mettering block passages and air bleeds.
