Ran my '32 at the drags this past weekend
I ran my '32 coupe at the Hot Rod Rumble 10/18/14 at Albuquerque Dragway this past weekend. DA was 6200' which is actually GOOD for us up here. My car ran 1.42 60', 10.6 @ 125mph on blower and 10.0 @ 135mph on 150 NOS all uncorrected times. Subtract roughly .5 and add 8mph for altitude correction to get ET for a normal altitude track. 9's baby! This was my first time at the drags with this car after some test hits on a lonely desert road by my home. Brand new build. Car was meant to be a street build so converter and rear end gearing are not optimized for low ET's and the 6-71 is way too small for the combo, yet it still runs a decent number.

Both cars are awesome. Maybe when I get the Zephyr done I'll bring it up and see how your track works.

Just saw this video and the street race one of you and the 51 Chevy. I always liked your mustang and the 32 is bad ass as well. Have you made anymore passes since this was shot?

Not at the local strip. Albuquerque Dragway is currently shut down for the winter. Another 2 months . But the street scene here goes on year round. Cool air and mostly dry roads. Boost cars love it.
These 2 videos were shot by a rider in the '51. That car runs high 10's here on the hose with a modded lsx. Since the outing at the strip with the '32 I've leaned up my carbs a lot, exchanged the 3.70's for a set of 4.11's, and cut out the triangulated 4 bar suspension and installed S&W ladder bars. Much improvement all around. I'm betting the '32 will now run 10.20's here on blower easily and dip well into the 9's on the small shot. At 6000 DA .
