Car seem to be braking loose and out of control as far out as 330' and more... tire pressure was # 12 and car #3250 with driver and talk with MT they said 13-14lbs ... What pressure are you using with this size an weight

Mine used to get loose down track at those pressures. I went down to 9-10 lbs and stopped the spinning.

But as I went up in hp I had to start upping the pressures to keep from wadding the tire and killing the side wall, but the car keeps the front up and rear loaded more with the extra power.

I ended up running 5.60's with a 12 inch rim and a 28 x 10.5 tire and tubes. @ 13-14 lbs. and leaving two black marks all the way down the track, spinning some but controllable.

Others may have a answer too...........

Tires are mounted on 10" rims car is my sons its on the dark side model... 78 Malibu 427 sbc best pass in the 1/8 is 6.07 @ 115... Sunday it ran 6.10 @ 103 and completely out of control had to lift... Do have a couple changes to car clean up tune and upper bar on rear have made full passes before best of 9.41 @ 144... Not sure if the upper bar is causing the problem the clean up tune have run the car n/a and goes straight

at the same weight with my ranger on 31x10.5w M/T if ran over 10 psi mine would start get loose on top end I ran 8.5 psi and it left great and handled good on top end. I know they not the same size as you are talking about but they worked best a 8.5 psi for me. Now I have 31x14 Hoosiers so now I have to see what they like .

G body's are known to have too short of instant center. Are their any adjustable control arm brackets on the car?

car does have the upper bar relocated this year... Plus the air bags were removed had a few changes going on... what I can see when plotting out the IC was it wasn't short instead it would never intersect... it would somewhere behind the car... Plan is try lower tire pressure first and if this doesn't help relocate bar and bags...
