Daughters radio flyer
Some of you may have noticed i haven't been around much the last year. I was medically retired out of the Marines in April this year and then made the decission to move from NC to CA. It's taken the last year to not only get ready to move a whole house, but get set up in the new temporary house until we find one to buy. The job change of now managing and negotiating contracts with the federal government on the F/A-18 program wasn't what i expected and i have accepted a job working for the county of Riverside, CA. I'll be in charge of a few buyers and the sign-off for contracts on road projects, heavy equipment, and vehicles for the county starting here in a few weeks. It's been an interesting ride not to mention being full-time in my MBA program going to classes at night.
My daughter is 21 months and been busy spending time with her and spoiling her. During my adventures out here at car shows and swap meets I met Scotty Gray. Some of you may know him when i mention he was the one who commissioned Boyd Coddington to build crazy horse (mustang), alumatub, and whatthehey. I met him at one of the swap meets and found out he lives a few blocks from me. He has taken up the hobby of making some pretty sweet radio flyer wagons. I picked one up about a month ago from him and of course i couldn't leave it as is. I picked up a kids racing seat and seat-belt off e-bay and mounted it with some angle iron. With all the parts i purchased for the Fairlane i had a few stickers left over, so i helped her out with some "flare". The coilovers are adjustable and work surprising pretty well.

Thank you for your service as well. The F/A-18 has had a long life.
