What's up with that? I was just about to buy a block for my sons car. Didn't even think to ask if there was an issue with them.

I also inquired only to learn that they're not even his blocks. Was given the contact # of the owner and told to "give him a call"

Personally I think if you don't own it you shouldn't be able to sell it...just another guy here to sell...

I know people sell other peoples stuff cuz I loaned someone some parts and they sold my stuff with out my permission...

I posted these blocks for my racing partner. If you lost interest because I gave you his contact information then you're a moron .

Now I understand why this forum has the reputation that it dose.

You need to talk to your good friend and get the whole story. He was told the blocks were blems, before he paid and he looked at the sonic testing paperwork. Your good friend called his engine builder and talked to him about the blocks. The engine builder told him they were fine.

This initial add should have had these blocks are not 4.625 bore capable they are blems....

Like I said the buyer was told everything about the blocks and shown the testing paperwork. He even checked with his engine builder first. No one was trying to screw anyone over.

I'm the engine builder....... I'm building him a 572....... And no I did not tell him it was OK. If you would be upfront in your add we would not be having this discussion.

Then why did you tell him they were ok yesterday?  He stood right there and talked to you.  If they weren't good why would he pay for the block after talking to you?

He was told everything about the blocks and talked to you and he still decided to pay for it.

Nothing was kept from him, he knew what he was paying for.

Yes he's getting his money back.

I don't know who was talking to who, but when I spoke with him I said no. And like I've already stated if your add had been upfront we would not be having this discussion as he wouldn't have been there in the first place.

As I thought , these blocks belong to Van ( "Vandy") here on this and the other site.
Van is a straight up guy.. I have known him for years.
He will answer all your questions and tell you everything about the blocks...
