Vivtor intake from CL Empty Vivtor intake from CL

I saw a victor intake on the local CL today so Im gonna see if the guy still has it and if I can pick it up on my next paycheck, I figure the price is good enough that I can have it hang around until I go to test fit everything in the car and if it doesnt fit then I should be able to do a straight trade for a torker2 or maby just cut a hole in the hood and go for broked with a big ol bug catcher sticking out the top. Thoughts or opinions? Ps: its got a dominator carb pad so any info on domy carbs would be nice too.

There are two fitment differences between thetorker and the Victor that I know of.

One, the Victor is taller...

Two, the carb pad on the victor is machined to be parallel with the crank centerline, whereas the majority of intakes have the carb pad milled like 3 degrees forward so the carb sits level with the engine slanted back as it would be using stock engine mounts. This makes the front of the air cleaner stick way up and this was a major problem with my car's hood. After milling the carb 3 degrees, all was cool.

Good luck!
