I hear that!!!
THe internet is a wonder-full thing...
Most of the gun shops around here dont have the .50, and the ones that do what $1,500 plus for one...
DO a little search on the internet, finding many, many wonderful handguns! Most have org box, plus extra clips, 300 plus round, and holsters... for around $850 - $1,000.. The gun shop im using will do an FFL transfer for me, only $30 bucks... Cant go wrong!!!

Re: handgun
Have any of you guys ever shot one? I have and I stand by my point it is useless, ear plug and muffs and more are needed...and at $5 to $10 a shot who can afford it...

Actually, I have fired this gun in the California desert more then a few times..
When you spend $500/ $600 for a drum of fuel, What's $5 to $10 a round ??
And...
From your standpoint, they are useless...
Well..you know what they say about opinions don't ya ??

Shoot 'em twice with a 38 and then put some 'Pole' power on 'em.
Re: handgun
why do racers need 800 plus cui engines? or 572, or 600, or 632? When a 302 with NOS will run 10's all day long in a fox body..
why do i need a blown inj alky engine for my lake boat?
why do some folks want a Barrett 50?
why do some run Monster trucks?
why do some need 15,000 sq ft homes?
why do some need hundreds and hundreds of acres?
why do some need a garage full of engines, setting doing nothing for years and years?
why do some need more than one vehicle parked in their drive way?
why do some bitch about the price of a gallon of gas, yet will pay $7.50 for a rum and coke at the bar?
why do folks pay $100 a month cell phone bill?
why pay for shaving cream?, when cheap VO-5 conditioner ( 97 cents a bottle ) works better, lasts longer, is cheaper and is better for conditioning your skin.
Why do people need to hunt when you can buy your food at a grocery store?
etc etc etc....

Re: handgun
2 points to make here:
1. Shooting little holes in an attacker will likely piss him off.
2. Shooting him twice is wasteful.
Now choose your weapon.
