Cooling setup Empty Cooling setup

I'm mounting the radiator in the rear of my mud truck. I ran 1.25 rigid aluminum down the frame. I plan to attach to the radiator with rubber hose connections. The pump is mounted at the radiator. The connection to the thermostat neck will also be easy. My concerns are with the supply line into the motor plate. I taped the two holes 1/2" npt and I am using a npt to 12 an fitting. I was planning on capping the 1.25 and welding 2 12an bungs on the side of it. Will I have distribution Like this?

The critical part will be making sure you don't trap air in the lines or a dead spot where the coolant doesn't flow thru. After you remove all the air check the temp in each line to make sure it's flowing. You will see a cold spot it its not getting flow.

Thanks Jones. I was thinking along the same lines as you. Maybe I'll have it plumbed in the next few weeks.

Hopefully someone else will chime in. Did you check with the electric water pump manufacturer? I know one of them makes a remote water pump like your doing and I wonder how they suggest running the lines.

Only thing I can think of is to reverse the coolant flow direction. Have all the cold coming in thru the top and exit out of the water pump passages.

It's a PRP pump. They show using a y fitting.

I came across this that might help.

You could make something like this.
