Trying to get back on track after taking care of my wife untill she passed away. With tow vehicle now maybe I can get back to the Tbird and install the 532 thats been sitting.

Its gonna be a long hard row to hoe Coug. Trying to start life over at nearly 70 yr old. Lots of my suff has been stolen and some misplaced, tires rotted, etc, etc. sorry pos steal from me knowing I was spending most of my time at the hospital sitting by her bedside.

There is so much missing, tools, torch kit and tanks, extra 17x33 slicks, i had enough wire to wire it, both batts are gone, my guages, think tach is still hid and more.
Couldnt shoot bc all my guns are gone too!

Thats not my B model, I just liked it as it reminds me of when I was driving.

My car is full chassis with glass nose, only stock metal is the body shell and trunk.

As said, it will be a good while before getting started . I found out that my daughter has hidden some of my parts underneath stacks of her yard sale things to keep them from disappearing too. Just got to get myself organized enough to find out what is what and where.

Bob find out what you have and what you need and post the needs here, we might have some extra stuff laying around to help you...

I will do that thank all of you. Maybe when I get done with the IRS deal that just fell on me I can get to it.

I sure wish I lived closer, would love to give you a hand with the car. Sometimes swinging some wrenches helps a fella feel better.

Nice looking truck Bob and sorry to hear about your wife. It's nice you have a project to get you going again.

Just some more info so as to not mislead anyone. My wife of 49 yrs passed on Oct 8, 2013. The previous 3 yrs were spent with her in and out of hospital and the last yr and a half what time she was not in hospital, I took care of her 24/7 best I could. Everything we had deteriated including our house and yes my drag car. I traded the 68 Mustang for this 86 Tbird in 08, started on it then as she progressed worse, I retired early at 62 in 09 and put everything on hold to care for her. Now I must align my prioritys as to what and how to do and when. I'm still kinda lost. I do have the widow of a friend who has been a wonderful help in helping me cope.

Not this truck is the nicest onee I ever owned. A 99 f250, 7.3, 6 speed with gps, cb, Banks turbo and kit, Bsnks exhaust, tuner and more. I traded for it with all this on it with 180,000 mi. Not crazy about a diesel as I worked on trucks for 30 years at Ryder. But payments are right and they supposedly hold value.

Sorry fo the long post but just wanted you all to have the info.

Its not just a diesel ,it's a 7.3 POWERSTROKE DIESEL.
