timing chain for aligned bore blocks?
I have a block that was aligned bored and the chain that came off was pretty loose not very many runs. So i thought i would replace it with a -.005 smaller one. questing is? where do the make the -.005 adjustemnt? in the gears? and if so which one or both

Yeah, the gears are machined slightly larger.
I think i have an extra set up in the shop if you need one.

Cloyes has the chain and sprocket sets in just about all of their series that are available in .005 and .010 shorter sets.

I thought the gear teeth weren't machined as deep, making the chain sit higher.
