Thats a cool looking truck!! I bet that its fairly rare for a crew cab that old. I haven't seen one ever.

Re: Looking at a tow rig
Darn good trucks, I've had a couple from the mid 70's. They are a little smallish in the back seat for leg room for an average sized guy. Plenty of room for the crumb crunchers though. The 390's are getting a little scarce in my neighborhood, but they are awesome motors. My last one was a 4X4 with a 390 and I could pull a loaded 20' stock trailer with no problem at all.

Buy it. I'd give my left nut for an old tow rig like that... My problem is I don't have a place to keep another truck like that...

Re: Looking at a tow rig
I would say get it had a friend that had one 71 model the body looked good but the frame was wore out it had over 500,000 miles on the the truck itself and had the 4th motor in it when he retired it .Wish I had went ahead and took it and restored it and it had under dash a/c. I would say you want go wrong on it if it is in as good of shape as they say it is.
