Got the call last night that his time was short, he passed at 4:50 this morning. Even though we knew it was coming, I never imagined I could feel this sad.

Well, the easy part is over, we buried my dad today. I have such a profound feeling of emptiness, this is going to take a while to get past this. Unfortunately my grandpa passed Saturday morning so we have to go through this again next Tuesday. We're keeping a close eye on my mom, she's putting on the brave front but you can see she's starting to crack. She's a diabetic and she's been having a lot of low blood sugers
