460 EFI
Just got some Gibson GP204 headers for my '96 f-250 460 p/u. Amazon had them $100 less than summit or jegs, they are the tri-y design with chrome finish. Hopefully get some more get up and go from the old gal (only 116,000 miles) once installed with a good cam from Randy Malik (don't have cam yet).

Are you going to have to burn a chip for it?

From what I have read, as long as you get the computer compatible cam, you stay with the factory setup. Also planning to smooth out intake manifold runner ends and change out fuel filters, maybe a fuel pressure regulator as well.

Made a little progress on my truck header project, got the old exhaust manifolds off. Had to really fight all the emission related bolts/fittings. They didn't want to budge after all these years/miles. Debating to do cam and manifold now or wait till later on in year (need to get on the p-51 engine project for the mustang).

Re: 460 EFI
Got the headers installed over the weekend, the original ex. manifold bolt threads are slightly different than 3/8 header bolt threads, so a tip for anyone doing this project is to run a tap in the head ex. port to make the new header bolts fit MUCH easier. Took me about two weeks total time in the driveway in between rain and snow showers and fighting rusty stuff. Cam/lifters are next, with magnaflow muffler and aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.

I sure hope all the mods help, with my 10' camper and trailer behind it didn't have much steam left, especially going over a high mountain pass
