I used a 351w pilot bearing does it make a difference? Should I switch it out for the 460 one do they sit out different?
Re: 95 bronco
I would think it would be to your benefit to put it together right once. Rather than wrong a few times?

Re: 95 bronco
I just had it handy for mock up I read about some people having to use the smaller pilot wasn't sure if it had something to do with motor never coming with standard maby wasn't bored for the bigger pilot
Re: 95 bronco
My experience has been as follows;
IF you are using a 400/351M bellhousing, then you use the small pilot bearing, which installs all the way in the small step bored in the back of the crank. If you are using a "true" 385 series bellhousing, then you use the larger pilot bearing. The 400 crank does not protrude out the back of the block as far as the 385 series does, so the bellhousing is shallower, even though the bolt pattern is the same.

Re: 95 bronco
What's the length for flywheel bolts? Can only find 1 inch bolts I figured standard ones would be a half inch longer
