Intake loosening up Empty Intake loosening up

Seems like my intake keeps loosening up... I have the ford single plane and A429 heads using arp stainless bolts... Have lost a few intake gaskets in the pass and think this one is also leaking...

After initial install and the engine has been brought up to temp.  Need to go back before next run and retorque.  The torque value for them little bolts isnt enough to crush most gaskets until the aluminum gets hot and expands.  Once it cools...  gaskets are crushed and bolts are loose.  Retorque cold and they are typically good till next tear down

Fel-Pro "print o seal" gaskets are the worst for creep. I like SCE brand gaskets for the low creep relaxation properties but still need fo snug them up periodically.
I was curious about the bolts rotating loose and marked a few and found that they didnt turn when running the FelPro gasket. This verified the creep for that gasket for me.

if you've ever  had a water jacket passage blow out into a corner intake runner, it can go hydraulic and take your engine out.

Or try the Victor Reinz gaskets . I've used them in both SCJ and normal ports and work nice . I did have a little issue with the Mr GAskets as well , not as bad but the coolant did creep through the gasket core . The VR have been on now 3 yrs +

I have read all good feedback on the SCE's as well so a good choice there too . Never used them be keen to see how they go when you get them . Hard to get the good gaskets over here .
