I honestly don't know if it's all his fault. He did awfully well at West Virginia, and he hasn't had time to turn things around at Michigan. Now then, on the other hand, Charlie Weise has had time.

Charlie, My gripe with Rich is that he has NO idea that there's anything to do when one DOES NOT HAVE THE BALL. When he showed up at Michigan he canned the entire staff including everyone who could put together a respectable defense (a UM trademark). I don't think that was necessary in order to introduce his offense. As it is now, when UM is on defense, any self respecting middle school could run up the score on them (and has). I don't know who else to blame for that one. As a result, UM has endured the worst season in its entire history, and this season doesn't look much better. If he's awake, I bet he wishes he could undo his "Ron English" decision.
