ranger headers

anyone ever try the sanderson ff463 header on a ranger with a 460? looks like it might work. just wondering if i want to go 302 or 460!!!

I'm pretty fond of a 632 in my Ranger.

So-o-o.....You're trying to decide if it will be a work truck or a hotrod?

It's a 1988 ranger roller. 9inch rear w/ 4.11 gears and a locker, 6 point roll bar. Just need a motor and trans. Have both a sbf and BBF to choose from. Just wondering how hard it would be to go BBF

BBF all day ! Don't do the small block. You'll regret it. Ask me how I know.

It's actually easier than most people think shoehorning a bbf into a ranger.

what did you do for motor mounts?

I just went motor/mid plates to give me extra room and drop the motor down some. There is room to make short towers if you want to use normal motor mounts, but since I'm an all out race truck, it was easier and made more sence to go this direction.

Same here used motor and mid plates on headers I built my own so can't say about the header you are looking at

Make a set. Most of the cookie cutter headers are a PITA.
