Hello everyone! My current car is a 466 powered 1982 mustang gt. This is my first big block car! It was built on a tight but manageable budget.
The engine is very mild...
- .030 over with hypereutectics
- stock d3 heads
- an extinct general kinetics cam that was found brand new in the box... .522 lift intake and exhaust, duration is around .234@.050
- torker 2 intake with an 850 holley carb
- c4 transmission with a 4000 convertor...( yeah, I know it's a little on the loose side )
- 9" rear with 3.50 gears
- aftermarket adjustable upper and lower control arms
- strange adjustable rear shocks
- through the floor frame connectors
,I managed to keep cost down by fabbing engine mounts, headers and a lot of the other misc pieces to put it together. At the end of last season, I managed the best of a 12.0 @ 110 with a 1.65 60' on it's second trip to the track....time for some more tuning....

Yes, it is Milan. These were taken the last November, one of the last days before they shut down for the season.

Nice lil ride,i like the fact that you have the engine low enough for small scoop.

Thanks!
The goal was to keep it as low key as possible, with no ridiculous hood scoops. As it sits, it has a torker2 intake with a 1" spacer under the carb,it just fits! The only draw back to the way I've set the car up, is that it's impossible to pull the transmission out without pulling the engine and transmission together. I'm dealing with this right now, since my transmission decided to ingest its clutches.
I do have fun with the younger crowd since I've left all of the original 5.0 badges on the car!

How thick of spacers did you use on the cross member to get it the engine to sit that low.

I like that! But it sounds pretty healthy for a junk yard 302!gmsmkr wrote: it's just a junk yard 302 the other one we use is its a 302 crate motor from the local parts store gets them every time....
