The experimental heads had extra meat welded in them, to apply that to a std head you will have a dutchlincoln syndrome..............

Re: TFS Streets CNC porting options from TFS
So are the CNC versions going to be a generic ported version of the streets or are they supposed to be an out of the box max effort port job? Similar to the way the SCJ and P51 heads sort of line up. I know they are never going to be as good as a set of custom application specific ported heads, but just curious if it would be worth spending the extra money on the CNC's or just get the regular streets and have them ported later.

Hopefully, they'll have them available as products soon on their site to answer all these questions.

I would too but I am not going to hold my breath waiting for it... I figure end 2010 or 2011, as for the heads the stock out of the boxes come with 290cc intake ports the C.N.C. are comiong with 325cc that tells me they took alot of meat out.
I feel these heads have a lot of flow still in them, I am working toward finding out.......

The other thing I noted is the cnc ported heads say 80cc chambers. I thought the normal streets were 74cc chambers. What would be the reason to enlarge the chamber, other than to drop compression?

CNC's ass....
A human did these ports......all a machine does is copy what a person designs [hopefully].

Bein' that "they" took a lot of "meat" out, I wonder if "they" might have sent some with the "snake" to get it "swapped"....................in O-hi............

I suspect "they" took a lot of aluminium out of the cyl. head .

Larger market share for stroker combos on pump gas is one benefit. Right now there are few head choices for a 80-85 cc chamber. Blue Thunder is one and Edelbrock has a 95 cc version.
Beyond that, one would have to step up to A460 TFS to get something bigger than 72-74 cc chambers.

Dutchlincoln is designing a new CNC porting program for PROCOMP, and I can't wait.

Re: TFS Streets CNC porting options from TFS
Has anyone put these heads on a flow bench? How much did they improve the exhaust port? When they say the exhaust was raised .270 is that just the port or port & exhaust bolt pattern?
