Fabricated valve covers needed.
After a 9 month wait for Williams Performance to send me the valve covers they say they make I have decided to give up on the company.
I wanted a Fabricated valve cover with the vacuume and oil fill ports already installed. As well as tall enough to clear jomar girdle on SCJ cylinder heads.
I know Moroso makes a fabricated 3-1/2" tall set but they don't come with the bungs welded in.
Is there any other company that could build or sell me what I am looking for?

Re: Fabricated valve covers needed.
I called and spoke with the man and asked him "why" ?? Why did he say they shipped two times and then say they where built yet haven't received them after I was told they where made in January. I just wanted the man to know I was being extremely patient yet he no care.
I'm sure he is going to say something like they are made and I will receive the in a week and never get them.
Rant over!
Warning to anyone that wants to use this company.

Lem was the one I was trying to order them through!! He kept feeding Lem stories so we finally gave up and stop believing anything he says.
I just wanted to hear what he had to say about him self and if he realizes that he just lost a lot of potential customers.

Why? It's the truth! I wouldn't want anyone to fall for what I fell for.
Don't get me wrong and think this is about trying to get a set of valve covers out of the company now. The deal is over with, I have to find someone that will get me what I want. Even if they was going to ship the covers to me for free I would have to refuse. I don't want to buy another set then have them show up and they ask for money.
I spent more time on this than I was wanting too. I just want to find someone that could have the valve covers I want made with all the bungs welded in all ready. All else fails I'll by a set of Morosos and find someone to tig the bungs in.

Not to hijack, but does anyone use the moroso covers on scj or p51. And if so, how did you get them to clear the spring retainer at the lower corner bolt hole?

Thats exactly what I will be using my valve covers on "SCJ".
I think they will clear as long as they use "tubes" thru the valve covers. That will allow the internal walls to be pushed outward for clearance.

Has anyone used "Billet Fabrication" or "Canton" valve covers on the SCJ cylinder heads with Crower SS rockers and Jomar girdle?

The tubes are a giant PITA, and will leak crank case vacuum if the tubes are not welded completely around the bottom and top.

I'm sure someone will chime in, but from what I understand that is the only way.

Jeff Johnston - Billet Fabrication make high end nice fitting covers. Not cheap by price or quality.

Has he got better since 2012? There was a thread about him on YB that was pretty negative.
