Need help

2012 Ford Tauras with the intel-a-key. Just finished driving the car turned off the car ran inside and came back out to the car making a clicking sound under the dash. If I put my foot on the brake it stops. Car won't crank, no lights, no lock/ unlock won't come out of park.

We tried the manual as in anti theft system and that won't work.

Anyone know what is going on?

Fixed, it was a dead battery instead of the anti-theft system.

same think happened to the wifes mkx a year ago

I wasn't thinking dead battery as it never showed a warning light and what ever was making that clicking noise had to have juice.
