hello from north GA

I just got my first big block car. It's a 93 lx with a 429 and small cam. I also have a 437 short block. Plan is solid roller,tfs 290s,and building the trans and rear end to go with it. But for now I am going to play with the 429 that's in it. Maybe add a little spray. I have came here a lot reading odds and ends about bbf's now I have one.

If you are planning on upgrading and want to hit it with the juice you might find the weakest link but you will have fun.

I am sure the Pistons would go first. But don't want to trash this engine

That old 71 merk engine i drug out of the woods awhile back runs pretty good.

Welcome aboard. Glad to have someone else around who likes 429's. If you have Ford Pistons, they will take a little spay, at least mine did.
