Re: what are these for ??
Looks like a 30-06 reload in a military case? Can't read headstamp from picture. Worth a lot of big problems if from an unknown source.

Re: what are these for ??
I finally made out the headstamp. Year 1942 7.9=8x57 Mauser, TOC the O maybe a cresent moon, is a Turkish Military case, TC translates to Turkiye Cumhuriyeti or Turkish Republic. FS is also on the Turkish Military cases, it translates to Fishek, which means cartridge. Bullet is likely a Speer SP Between 150 and 200grs'. They only made 3 weights 150,170 and 200grs and one of the few American sources of 8mm bullets. Since these were Berdan primed cases it is likely someone pulled the FMJ bullets and reloaded them, they definitely did not come from the factory with a Soft Point bullet. Hopefully they replaced the powder also.

How many do you have. The bullets can be pulled with a kinetic bullet puller and be sold if you have enough to make it worth while.
