Until I saw Adam's rig, I was about to ask why anyone would lower a dually.

Hey FalconEh, is that a 6.2L gas? If so, how do you like it?

Yes it is a 6.2L gas, I found it kinda creepy at first, it does rev like a SBF stroker motor but the trans is crazy, pulling a 10K truck with a 10K+ trailer uphill and rug it it will hit 1st at 65-70 MPH and pick up speed if it thinks it needs to I usually switch to manual mode and shift it because I think it's too hard on itself, air on, cruise on 10K+ in tow, temps good, gas mileage same as commuting in the city or better, took it hunting last year, and mud and snow did not stop it from going where I wanted it to, and a few places I didn't want to go but was committed. I wanted a diesel but the smell makes the wife sick so I bought this one, and I cannot say I am disappointed.

Hallet that lowered dually is perfect! I'd love to set something up like that for my tow rig. How does it ride with the air ride setup?

its no Lincoln, but it does ride way better than it did stock.
After market drop I-beams in the front, "C"-notched the frame in the rear. Bags on all 4 corners.

Re: Post em up
Thanks. I want to figure out a way to make a truck ride as smooth as I can. Wife has a bad back and riding long distances or in rough rides really aggravates it. If I can make the truck ride a little better she'd be more inclined to go to the track more with me.

Here's a couple of pictures of mine, I was bringing the 48' Featherlite home from Wisconsin.
2 car hauler with living quarters, it towed like a dream. Truck is a '13 Platinum with a 6.7, 18mpg empty and 11 towing the trailer home.

Nice trucks, I like having a topper but the 5er kills it, the reason my gas mileage doesn;t change is the highway makes up for the weight of the tow vs the stand still BS commute.

Must be nice to have to choose between the purpose built haulers awaiting the next job.
