Going to be in Cookeville, TN for a couple weeks in October. Any recommendations of things to do? Evenings especially.

Middle tn. Dragway is 15 minutes down the road. Burgers falls is pretty nice , Rail road depot. Movie theater center hill lake , few nice places to eat, long horns ,o'charley's, about it unless you want to go to Tennessee Tech university.

Gatlinburg is nice if you have time to head that way. Depending on the weather you could see plenty of fall colors.

I thought Jim closed the drag strip for maintenance / repairs and upgrades till next year?

I 40 is closed for reconstruction 4 million dollars worth ! ,Jim sold it and it is under new management. That is in cumberland county Tn. Cookeville Tn is the town right next to Crossville Tn. Putnam county has Middle Tn Dragway or Buffalo Valley.

That was the best way I new to explain or confuse every one. Lol scratch

That's right, I always get Cookeville and Crossville mixed up.
