When you sell a fire arm, does it have to be transported by a FFL dealer?

Transported, I don't believe so... Shipped yes... I would check into your local laws to be sure though...

Ive shipped two shotguns back to the manufacturer in their original boxes for warranty repairs through UPS and they came back the same way. I won a shotgun through a program at work and it came through Fedex but the original box was wrapped in brown paper.

Maybe check with your local UPS store?
