Spark plug index position

What seems to be the best spark plug index position for aluminum SCJ cylinder heads? Ground strap at 12 O'clock, open toward the intake valve, open toward the exhaust valve, etc. ?

Wherever it don't hit the piston! Otherwise you'll never know the difference.
