Both are a good head but the SCJ has a better design and will flow better. Just remember the SCJ will use diff valve reliefs in the piston.

I don't know what your build consists of, either head will support 700 easily. Out of the box ,I think the SCJ will get you more. If you haven't purchased the pistons yet a CJ A429 will use the stock valve placement (oem stock piston design) but the SCJ and Kasse p51 will have the valve reliefs higher on the piston.

When you ordered the kit, did'nt they ask you what head you were going to use?

Depends on what piston they gave you.

If they are for a stock valve placement and you still dont have heads get a tfs street head, they will support those numbers.

No, not necessarily. My guess is that they sent you the ones for the stock(oem) valve reliefs. Just call them and give them your order # and they should tell you. If you have the oem style you could always go w/TFS streets. They are a good head and make good #'s. Or if you want to use the SCJ head maybe they will trade you for the right pistons. You could have reliefs cut in those pistons, but it's NOT something I would do on a new build.

they should be able to tell you what they fit.

not ideal but one can always have the pistons fly cut to fit the valve loctation.............if you can send them back.
