BBF in A Fox - Cooling Rad/Fans
Before I detail - Yes I used the search button at the top and went through all old posts.
This is a street BBF Fox (Mild at 400 HP to the rear wheels)
My clearance is 3" between snout and Rad cores (Basic Alum Flexcool 24X19X2 Rad). My Volvo/Mark 8/Traditional 3000+ CFM pullers will not work.
Flex and Derale both make a 1 5/8 or 1 3/4 but CFM is low for our BFF 2200 ish.
Can everyone with a street BBF in hot climates chime in (Florida/Texas, Arizona, etc.) on what their rad size is and fan configuration? Pics would be awesome!
I am not against angling the rad or customizing but would like to see what those with more experience have already done. I'm not sure any OEM aftermarket pusher will cool our motors.
Let me have it.....
Thanks Joe

I recessed my rad in side the core support top built a tubular lower and I'm running duel ford contour fans 2200 each wired them so they both come on with toggle switch.
I'm also using a electric water pump
I will get you some pics later.

Found a fan at the junkyard this weekend
Looked interesting so I grabbed it.
A 16" specialty pusher fan from a BMW 5/7 Series
It is purpose built as a pusher and looks like it uses the same motor from the Volvo/ford fans. It pushes a lot of air.
I'll try to post a pic later.
