Then the question becomes --- "what constitutes a door car"...?
There is a "200+ wheelbase dragster" which runs locally around here with a 23T roadster body sculpted to fit on it with no top. The doors DO operate but, that body is basically there just to deflect the wind around the rear tires and get around "Door Car Only" rules.

just build it... one piece at a time, piecemeal. Do it yourself and stay with it. you will be suprised what you can do if ya want it bad enough. Been working on mine for 5 years now. Its 75% done now. good freinds, deals on parts, you can do it GSMKR

Thanks mav, I'm slowly getting stuff together for a tube chassis build it's just taking some time as I'm not buying a kit I'm building it all from a pile of tubing but for now my S.S mustang will have to do
