Ford Race - Old People Need Their Rest

So where is everybody staying for the race at US60 in June?

Some of us aren't spring chickens anymore and need our rest between race days.

Web sites directed me to hotels in Owensboro but you have to deal with all those crazy drivers in them parts

There is only one motel in Hardinsburg that I know of.
If you do not have any luck there, then the closest area with lodging from the track would be northwest in Tell City, IN.
The next closest after that would be in the northeast direction in Brandenburg, KY.

And then there is Owensboro which is west of the track.

Im planning on bringing a RV or just sleep in my trailer. Last year I was in Owensboro and its just too far a drive for me.

We are staying in Lewisport Ky. Which is about 30 minutes away. Right across from Tell City.

Is there camping at the track?

Yes you can camp at the track. No amenities of course.

There will be some chairs in the KFM area that are approved for overnight sleeping.

Thanks guys, I have a self contained 32ft toy hauler, I should be able to rough it.

Yup, if I can get the time off from work.

Looks like we will be staying up in Lem's neck of the woods.

We brought the wife's camper last year and had a blast staying in the pits..
No hook ups, but it didn't matter...

That's hard to do, since most of us wake up EARLY !!

I'm going to stay in the trailer this year. I am going to build a simple shower for it and I'll be all good.
