I haven't heard from Chris or Rick in a while. Could be busy working on the Hemi? I know here lately I've been busy and have less time to surf the net.

team fancy is still alive and kickin'.... Nice to see ya'all care As for where we been, Chris and I have just been busy and dont really post much on any of the sites.... Chris can chime in and tell ya what he's been up to..myself, my divorce is now final after 2 yrs of bs and in the interim, I have met another beautiful gal who had never been to a drag race in her life, now, she begs me to go just so she can. She has actually been nice to have around at the track as she makes sure we eat and drink and helps us get strapped into the car every round. i think i'm gonna keep her and actually ask her the question on vacation in the keys a few weeks ago..of course, she said yes!.....we've made some headway with the dragster and were making some more changes but ran out of season....last time out car was deadly and was running right on the dial-in every round...let's just say that the driver (me!) ruined a good race car that night by being all over the tree. i struggle with leaving off the top bulb but hopefully, i'll eventually get the hang of box racing...

Good to here from you Rick . Tell Fancy I said Hey.
I hate this deal got out of hand It seems almost all the BBF guys are good guys.
Gary called me the other Night and had a cordial conversation. Saw him at the Swap meet and spoke to him. Of coarse I was with a Celebrity (Wild Man Hobbs) and couldn't stay long.
Gary has a deep passion for the A -429 and DOOE-R's . I told him my opinion on the power capability of all the available Ford heads , and he told me his. No arguing just good opinions back and forth.
The main thing is guys, it's all about running the BBF and sharing info to put the engines we all love at the top.
That's one thing I hope I have done is to share info. Do I like to win............. HELL YES. But if I don't have the car to beat a Chevy guy, I hope one of my Big Block Brothers do Anybody that needs help on a Ford, even if I think he can out run me, I am going to do my best to help him with any info I have.
I am going to be trying some things on my new engine this time, that if it works will be posted on here for you guys to see and try.
Chris,
I for one would like to see you back on here, you are a valuable asset to our forum . You and Ky were very good friends , had all this conversation taken place face to face, you would still be friends because some of the things said wouldn't have been said.
This crap about what head is best is like two brothers fighting about who mom loves the most. It's all Ford Bro
Hope you guys make it to the Bash................

Rick
Congrats on the new gal, and good riddens to the old. When I went through my divorce 15 yrs ago I was emotionally and financially drained for a good while. Then I met Sooz and It was worth it all. She changed my attitude and the way I live my life. She taught me how precious (TRUE) friends are and how they should be treated. I feel the same way as Blake, we are all BBF brothers and need to help each other in every way we possibly can. I don't get into other peoples squabbles . I just know you have made a honorable move by coming on here and acting like the gentleman I suspect you truly are and hope you come back often and share any knowledge that you have about the sport and engines that we love.
Good luck w/new Gal. Try to come to the Seminar next month and bring the new Gal, maybe she can go shopping w/Sooz while we do the seminar deal.

Re: Were is team Fancy ????
What's up fellas?? Well I think Jelly Boy must have sabotaged my post last night because it sure isn't up here today... Anyway like Rick said we both have been busy. We are getting ready for all hell to bust loose on refueling the USS Lincoln at work. So it's been consistent 10 hr days plus my 3 hr round trip drive. Just not alot of hrs left in the day. I haven't been posting alot on any boards. So Steve to answer your question on why I haven't been on Bruno's site is because until recently everytime I got on here, it would lock my computer up. Plus after the blow up, I came on here to clarify what I had meant. After talking & appollogizing to Lem & Phillip, I had realized people had taken what I posted against them & it wasn't. I stated my case to Lem,Phillip,Damon, & Nick. I was going to do the same here but after I saw all the love I was receiving such as being called a piece of shit, I decided it wasn't worth stirring up more crap. We're all grown & have our own opinions. I respect that. So that is all I have to say on that. Time to move on. Hope to get back on the hemi over Christmas shutdown. I pretty much put it on standby mode this year. My son had to have ear surgery & then speech therepy. Insurance was dening speech therepy & it was costing $304 per week. Needless to say my blood pressure was a little high. But the good Lord looked after us & couple of months later , we got the insurance to cover it. I'm really proud of Aidan. They said he would need therepy probably until 3rd grade. He's in kindergarden now. But he actually was released after a few months due to his improvement. The therapist couldn't believe how fast he progressed. It's amazing what finally getting his ears fixed so he could hear did for his speech. He is a totally different child now. So I have basically have had my wagons circled & paying off bills. Looking forward to getting back on the hemi. The heads are in the nitty gritty detail work stage now & I should have them soon. Can't wait to see it in the car with the logo'd valve covers that David Willingham did for me. They are awesome!!! Plus I want to see how high the intake is going to be. I am looking at possibly going with an Enderele hat injection instead of throttle bodied for height reasons. So there you have it for the past 6 months. I appreciate the kind words that some have posted up here & I have to give a shout to Nick for asking me back.
