will be a street strip motor with most use on strip. Want to start with a solid foundation. Something that is not going to limit potential horsepower desires weather it be a large amount of spray or tturbos. I have built several motors with stock blocks and are quickly out of room to grow. I have seen all the blocks you mentioned. But don't know enough as in what is stronger more durable or more capable ? What's the best money spent should it be metal or aluminum ect. That's why I asked what's better and why. Goal is capable of holding alot of power.i know that's open ended some will say 2000 hp is alot and others will 3500 is alot . What is each blocks limits and good and bad about them. Thinking about adding alot more power to my back half pro street maverick with now a 408w. It's got a set of old cast iron trickflow high ports on it. Some people say they are a good turbo head. But that was a few years back. may not even be good by today's standard. It's a fun car now but not fast by today's standards at all.dfree383 wrote:garys gt wrote:What is the better or best aftermarket blocks out there for sbf and why ?

Dart or Ford SVO for iron are the best out there. Never have used a world products block but I don't see those in any cars we race in X275 so I'm assuming there is a reason.
