break in oil
Ordered Lucas break in oil and they sent Lucas SAE 15W-40 Magnum High TBN long drain truck oil (for 2007 and earlier trucks )instead. The break down shows Zinc - Wt% at .14 for the Magnum oil. I wanted to use Lucas 20 W/50 Racing break-in oil w/3600 PPM Zinc. Can anyone tell me if the Magnum Oil has enough PPM of Zinc to use for the break-in. The Magnum also has "High Detergent Action", which can't be good. Thanks.

Re: break in oil
That 15w-40 is good oil for a flat tappet valve train; (after break-in).
I personally use Amsoil 30 weight "break-in" oil made for ONLY that purpose and is to be drained after break-in.
Lots of companies have the same type thing; oil JUST for break-in only.
BR or BR-30 from Joe Gibbs is another one.
