quickfuel metering blocks??
Looking at doing some upgrades to my 1150 2 circuit dominator, mainly by changing the metering blocks out to something better. Having some tuning issues off the line and not so crisp throttle response. Motor was tuned on the dyno for WOT, but just seems lazy getting there off the line and some stumbles along the way. A local carb guy suggested upgrading the metering blocks from the fixed deals to adjustable and we can go from there. Anyway, looking at the Quickfuel metering blocks, and the only ones they specifically call out for dominators are the 3 circuit blocks (34-77). Will the Pro Billet 2 circuit (34-10) and 2 circuit secondary (34-9) work for me or do I need to go elsewhere?

Might be better to just upgrade the complete carb depending on what 1150 you have.
Call Oakley and see what he has.

I have the Holley 0-7320-1, its the 2 circuit 1x4 1150 dominator. Noticed my issues have been worse on the transbrake launchs. Beginning to think I need to go 3 circuit to fix it.

Like I've said call a pro and discuss it, the last few years have had slot of changes and upgrades to the new off the shelf stuff that you had to pay good money for an outside company to modify in the past

Re: quickfuel metering blocks??
My 1150 started out as a 3 circuit. Converted it to 2 circuit. Best thing I ever done.
Here is the thread on the conversion.

Re: quickfuel metering blocks??
Thanks for the info. My plan is to take it to the tuner to have it worked on, and since he's a good friend of my engine builder, he said to get the metering blocks and we can go from there. With the call to Quickfuel, they said the 34-10's would be too small, but since it seems numerous people have used those blocks to do the 3 circuit to 2 circuit conversion, I guess that's what I'm getting as a starting point to take to him.
